When i say GO GREEN (i don't mean Go Green planet !!!)I mean GO GREEN KITCHEN..
This week its all been about spinach, coriander, methi (Fenugreek leaves).Its amazing to add a little bit of green to all your food that you love .And i am soo much obsessed and a hug fan of chicken , i could not resist from adding my greens to this too.
This is amazingly easy and simple to cook. Don't believe me?

Ingredients.
1 large shallot or 1 small onion,
1 large tomato finely choppedCurry Leaves (Optional)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 heaped tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp Garlic ginger paste
2 Cloves
1 small stick Cinnamon
4-5 tablespoon of yogurt/cream (Optional)
Methi leaves 250 grams
chicken 1/2 kilo. I use DRUMSTICKS AS I LOVE THEM.
Salt.
Method.
No marinate required but you can if want to.(Marinate with little bit of curd , pepper powder,garlic ginger paste for about 20 to 30 minutes)
Now Jump straight into cooking,

Now Jump straight into cooking,
- Place a pot/ Pan on to stove and keep them on Low/ Medium Heat
- First add Cumin seeds let them splutter
- Add Curry leaves ,Cinnamon stick,2-3 cloves and finally add garlic ginger paste followed by onions. Allow them to cook for 2 minutes .
- Add the Chicken, Let them to fry for a while until you see the chicken turn white in color.(Keep the Lid covered as this will help chicken to let out some water and helps you for gravy consistency)
- Now add tomatoes and add all the spices like garam masala powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder, chilli powder ,Allow them to cook for about 3 minutes .
- Add some water and salt. Let them cook for 10 minutes in medium flame and make sure to keep lid covered.
- Finally add the methi leaves to it , You can chop them if you want but i did not bother to chop them , allow them to talk to each other with flavors for about 5 minutes more and ITS ALL DONE !!!!
